On the account of teacher’s day on 5th September 2018, the members of the student council organized a special event for our dear teachers.The event commenced at 4:30 in room no 008.
The host, Jaswant Paradeshi gave a warm welcome to all the teachers and expressed gratitude towards them for the important part they play in all our lives.To get the celebration started, the college band welcomed the teachers with their melodious tunes.
Post which there was an exhilarating open mic. The first to come up on the stage was Govind Haldankar sir, who gave us a small insight into the world of a composer and how a composer in the ancient times would take various aspects, such as the mood, the tempo, and the how to make an connection with audience.Post which our General Secretary, Sahil Krishnadas gave a heartfelt speech expressing his gratitude towards the teachers and plans for the upcoming year.
The final event of the day was a karaoke for the teachers. The teachers were presented with a list of songs, which comprised of many native and foreign songs. The first person who to perform was none other than our principal, Dr. Prachi Gharpure and melodious sang“Ek Ladki Bhigi Bhagi Si”. This was followed by all the teachers showcasing their singing talents.
The teachers truly had an enjoyable time. Kudos to the Student Council for making our teachers feel so special.
