CSI Ethical Hacking Webinar

CSI, S.P.I.T. had organised a webinar on 10th October 2020, about Ethical Hacking which was attended by students of all branches and years. The webinar was hosted and conducted by the creative head of CSI, Luv Gupta, on Google Meet platform.

The hands on workshop started with introduction by Luv himself and filling up the audience about what is cyber security and why is it necessary to be aware of it, especially in today’s world, which is at the peak of technology spread. The webinar objective was to introduce newbies about an interesting and out of the world domain which is least spread among the crowd, and the basics of Ethical Hacking for the beginners to start with.

Throughout the webinar Luv explained how to gain remote access of any android phone, step by step. Which included how one has to disable the antivirus and firewall so that the other doesn’t detect any suspicious activity. Further the audience learned how to make Remote Access Trojan, which is an application when installed in third party system allows us to access the android information, and use it to gain the access of any android. Luv further added on what cyber security issues may occur during such hacking and how to detect and prevent them.

The last part of the webinar included a questionnaire from the audience about the career in Ethical Hacking and technical doubts about gaining a remote access of any android phone. The webinar overall provided the audience with a new domain of career in modern world and a wholesome knowledge about cyber security and its importance. The audience thanked Luv, for his efforts and time to introduce them with such an interesting domain in the e-world, which then called it a day.
