The theme of the session was to guide the students about what to do after their engineering, by some experienced alumni of our college. The two-hour session started with Mansi Dwivedi introducing the panel; Ms Urvi Bhanushali who interned and is currently working in Morgan Stanley, Mr Shubham Sahu, who is pursuing his masters in Computer Science at the Stony Brooks University, USA and Mr Prakhar Maheshwari, who pursued his masters in IIM Kozhikode and is currently working at Udaan. The session had a huge attendance with active participation. The host, Shria Shrivastava, then progressed with various questions like, what to choose after engineering? Should one study further or opt for any job? What are the different career options available after engineering? While Ms Urvi provided a perspective of how to opt for a job when being in the college phase and providing the career information aftermath, Mr Shubham focused on what and how to study after completion of engineering, so as to get a kick start for your future job. On the other side, Mr Prakhar was more into what skills and experiences to acquire during college so that it is easy to get into a working environment in the future. The versatility of the questions and the knowledge of the panellists made the session even more worth attending. The discussion was followed by questions from the audience. In the leg of the event, all queries were answered by our panellists and they were thanked for their valuable information and time. Reporting
